COVID19 vaccines will are working with the NHS and local practices for the safe delivery of the vaccine.
GPs will not be the only service delivering the vaccine but, like the flu vaccine, they will focus on the most vulnerable groups first.
In the meantime, we would ask that people do not contact GP surgeries about when the vaccine will be available or to try to book an appointment for it.

Community pharmacies are seeing unprecedented activity. As a consequence there is already strain on the medicines supply chain causing shortages many of which are preventable. Please can you help us by doing the following to ensure the most vulnerable patients receive the medication they need:
· Do not request greater quantities than the normal pattern
· Do not request early
· Do not request inhalers for if you have have not requested an inhaler for >12 months unless they are symptomatic and clinically appropriate
· We will only prescribe 1 inhaler
· Do cannot prescribe any just in case paracetamol or antibiotics outside your normal
Please place in the external white box labelled ' Prescription request drop off' - you do not need to enter the surgery. All prescriptions are being sent to the nominated pharmacist. If you do not have a nominated pharmacist it will be defaulted to Hedgrail - Stoke Poges
