The award-winning EMIS Access enables patients to book appointments at their GP surgery over the internet. Patients can view, book, or cancel appointments online and often find it very useful for those times when the practice is closed or telephone lines are busy.

The latest EMIS Access feature allows patients to request repeat prescriptions from the comfort of their own home. Without visiting the practice, patients can use the internet to quickly order any repeat prescriptions that are due. EMIS Access delivers the request directly to the practice, and once processed, patients can simply collect the prescription from the practice.

to obtain your registration information

To register for this service please ask the receptionist for a website registration form, which generates a PIN number to enable you to set up access from your own computer.

Please note that this form can only be given to the requesting patient and their children under the age of 12. Spouses and children above the age of 12 must request the form themselves.

first time use of PATIENT access online services

1. Click on https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/Register
2.   and follow the log-on instructions.
    
3. You will be asked to create an account.
    
4. You will be prompted for your personal login details, which will be on your registration letter, previously obtained from the surgery.
    
5. You can then register and use the online services.
